Oliver Returns in New Pictures from The TV Program The Flash, and also Barry VS. Grodd

On the heels of the promo which was released before, The CW has debuted some brand new hot promo pictures from two of the upcoming episodes of "The Flash"


First up are two pictures (via CBR) of the Gorilla Grodd from Episode 21, titled "Grodd Lives" and place to air May 5. Written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing and directed by Doug Aarniokoski, the official synopsis reads thus :

"Barry (Grant Gustin) must deal with the Inverse Flash's (Tom Cavanagh) latest threat to an associate of the group. To make the matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city to distract Barry and the team. Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head down into the sewers in order to get Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry have a heart to heart discussion. "


 Moreover, four pictures from Episode 22, titled "Rogue Air" were also released (via TVLine) and feature not just the return of Oliver Queen but in addition Firestorm and The Flash's formerly -apprehended villains. Composed by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing and directed by Doug Aarniokoski, it is described as follows:

"As Wells (Tom Cavanagh) once again gets the upper hand on the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he needs to make a huge move and reaches out to an old foe, Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), for assistance. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) warn Barry that Cold can not be trusted. True to form, Cold has his own agenda that involves the meta humans contained in the containment cells. As things appear to be going from bad to worse, The Flash gets reinforcements - Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Firestorm (guest star Robbie Amell)".
